The Great Loom
The impossible machine beneath the Observatory. Its purpose. Its architecture. Its secrets.
The Machine
The Great Loom is the structure where the Century Games take place.
It is a machine older than human civilisation.
The gods did not build it. They inherited it.
The Observatory
The location from which the High Council watches the Games. The gods cannot act directly on a Champion — they can only alter the arena.
The Thresholds
The levels that compose the Great Loom. Each Threshold is designed around its own rules, trials and Guardian.
The Games
Ninety-nine Champions enter the Great Loom each century. Those who survive advance through the Thresholds.
Further Records Restricted
The purpose, architecture and deeper history of the Great Loom remain incomplete within the public archive.
Further records become available after each published volume.
This archive contains only information revealed in the published novels. New records are added after each release.
Access to subsequent Threshold records remains restricted by order of the High Council.
